BIMI Checker and Record Generator

Not published yet? Add the record, the SVG, or both. With both, we check your file in place of the one at l=, so you can try a logo against its certificate before you publish.

We fetch the logo and the certificate it points to. We do not look the record up in DNS.

SVG or SVGZ, up to 64 KB. Nothing in the file is run, and it is kept only for this check.

Needed to check DMARC and whether the certificate names your domain. Without one, those two are listed as not checked.

Already published? Check your domain instead.

Why a logo can fail to appear

Every piece of a BIMI setup can look correct and the logo still not show. DMARC may be at p=none, the SVG may break a profile rule that design tools break by default, or the certificate may be the wrong type for the mailbox provider you care about.

This checks all of them in one pass and tells you which layer is the problem. It also says what each provider documents, and where the documentation runs out.

One thing to know before you buy anything: as of May 2026, and going by a secondary source, Outlook does not show BIMI logos whatever certificate you hold.

Build a record

Fill in the addresses. We lay the record out the way receivers expect it.

An HTTPS link to your SVG.

An HTTPS link to the PEM file with the intermediate certificates in it. Gmail needs this.

Most domains only need default.

Only providers that show personal avatars use this.

Logo ready? Get DMARC to enforcement without losing mail.

BIMI needs DMARC at quarantine or reject, and moving there blind drops mail from senders you forgot you had. Report URI collects the DMARC reports that show every source sending as your domain, so you can see what will break before you tighten the policy.
